Waratah Medical Services at Morisset first opened in September 2006. We are located in the heart of the Morisset town centre, directly opposite the Morisset train station and a private bus company servicing Morisset and the surrounding areas. The close proximity to both the M1 (F3) and the train station makes this location easily accessible via train, bus and car. The Morisset township is the central service area for the tens of thousands of people who reside in the suburbs on the south-western border of Lake Macquarie. It is the economic hub for people from Cooranbong, Dora Creek, Wyee and the many suburbs on the Morisset peninsula such as Bonnells Bay and Morisset Park. This practice was the site chosen by the Department of Health and Aging as the Southern Lake Macquarie GP Super Clinic. The practice offers the local community access to affordable quality medical treatment and promotes preventative health care and ongoing management of chronic conditions.
