Swansea Community Cottage, located in the Swansea Centre, 228-234 Pacific Highway, Swansea. Swansea Community Cottage is your local neighbourhood centre and is here to help the local community with information, advice and referral services. In addition we provide activities, groups and courses for locals and visitors alike to attend. Check in regularly as there are often additional special events and activities you can join. If you are new to the area or have lived here for years, why not come and join in? We are in an accessible building with free car parking in the rear car park off Wood Street and 15 minute parking on the Pacific Highway. Public transport bus stop available at the front of the building on the Pacific Highway. We offer the following services: Information & referral Emergency relief vouchers St Vincents attending on Wednesdays for prearranged collection of EAPA vouchers for utilities Tax help Justice of the Peace services Oz Harvest and food hampers OOSH (Before & After School) Centres Vacation Care centres at Swansea & Caves Beach Recycle and Upcycle- Freebies! Donations greatly appreciated Support groups such as: Women in Recovery Family friendly playgroups for 0 to 6 year olds Craft groups Art classes Recreational classes One on one short term counselling or referral Eastlakes Youth Centre drop in service Support for local Landcare groups
